“Lovely Villa”

The best

Very nice villa in a quiet residential area. It is only a 10 to 15 minute walk into Son Bou town and beach area. There was plenty of free on street parking spaces directly outside the villa (We were there at end of September so perhaps it is more difficult to get a space in busier summer months.) The villa was clean and spacious and would easily fit a large family or three couples. You enter the villa from the street into the upper floor which has a good sized open plan living and dining area. This leads on to a large terrace which overlooks your private garden/pool area. The terrace has an amazing view to the beach and ocean. You can sit there and relax and enjoy the sunrise or sunset. Downstairs there are three bedrooms with double beds (two single beds pushed together) in each bedroom. Two of the bedrooms have double doors which lead to the garden/pool area. We all found the beds very comfy. They appeared to be fairly new and had a medium to firm feel to them. There was air con units and ceiling fans in all bedrooms. There are two nice bathrooms with good sized showers in each. The water pressure and temperature was great. The villa has everything you need including large fridge, oven/stove, cooking utensils, toaster, microwave, coffee machine and washing machine. The host was quick to respond to any questions I had and communication was made simple via WhatsApp. We stayed 10 days and on day 5 some friendly cleaners came and tidied the villa and changed bed sheets and towels. Overall a very relaxing and enjoyable stay.

To be improved

We had a great stay. The only slight negative was that there was a light sulphur/sewage smell from the upstairs bathroom. Although, this did not detract from the holiday at all and wasn't very noticeable. Also, if I was being very picky then I would have preferred if the external doors had mosquito screens on them. Two of the bedrooms have double doors which lead to the garden/pool area and I like to listen to the waves at night without risking being bitten by mosquitos.

“Amazing stay in Son Bou!”

The best

Villa was a really good size. Pool was lovely! We used the BBQ and had no problems. The main bed was comfy. Best thing about the villa was the view you get of the sea!

To be improved

The only thing I disliked was the grounds around the pool. Was big chunks of grass missing so if you weren’t wearing any footwear when getting out of the pool, it could be sore on your feet.

“Lovely family holiday, great location and views !”

The best

The location and the inside facilities . A/c was excellent across the house and the views amazing . The pool was lovely . Beds comfortable and balcony was brilliant .

To be improved

The garden around the pool was very muddy , the grass torn up couldn’t walk on it for fear of ruining towels and pool edge . Needs paving or fake grass or short term mats . This lets an amazing villa down. If not for this I would have rated 10/10. When we arrived the mud was bad contacted the agents and cleaned immediately but didn’t last . No garden table or any area to sit around pool only loungers . Again contacted agents and brought table however chairs very old and dirty but covered with towels . Provide some pool towels would be a nice touch. None of the above ruined our stay we had a fab holiday and the balcony views made up for this ! If pool area gets sorted I would be back .

brilliant location. glorious pool. all the facilities you could need and oh my goodness what a view! staff also super helpful and responsive. would happily come back.

To be improved

there was a strange smell (drains/ plumbing) and also found ants in a couple of cupboards. didn't detract from a lovely holiday though- just a couple of bits for potential improvement
