“cut in water supply 10 minutes before check-out, nightmare communicating with staff in English”

To be improved

10 minutes before checkout, water supply to my room is cut-off. I was taking a shower preparing to checkout in 10 minutes and I had a flight shortly after so I was definitely in a hurry. Now, I immediately had to put on my clothes and let a staff outside know, unfortunately this was extremely difficult considering that most of the staff did not speak even basic English. so I had to ponder over google translate on my phone and show it to the staff. A few minutes later, the water supply was turned on again and I was told that I could shower again, I then informed the staff that I will check out slightly later due to the delay caused by the cut in water supply. I then went back to continue my shower. A few minutes passes and the water supply turns off again. This was plain ridiculous. I then had to inform the staff a second time who then told me that there was some construction work going on. By then, I had lost my motivation and was just wanting to quickly shower and leave the place altogether as I had a flight. Because of the delay, I ended up having to take a Taxi instead of the train, this obviously resulted in a greater expense that I incurred. Requesting all staff to please learn at least some basic English. I think this would really help. I don't think this is difficult and I think this would improve the service standards tremendously.
