“Acceptable, but still pricey, and an awkward place to find without a grid reference, postal address given doesn’t work o”
Very good location for the beach, but you had to get up at dawn if you wanted to park anywhere near it! Very built up view from the balcony, but still acceptable, especially at night with the various lights! And there was indeed a sea view, if very limited! Also handy for the main food stores and general shopping! And, though we didn’t realise it until the last day, and fortunately didn’t need it, a local health centre! Swimming pool also very good, though the shower heads needed cleaning!
The entrance leads into the living area, but it’s an upside down house, bedrooms and bathrooms on the lower floor, which in themselves were very good, but the staircase had no handrails, and for elderly people, especially if they have Rheumatoid Arthritis like my wife, would find navigating them difficult! The living area was very bare, no way could you seat 6 people on the 2 settees supplied, and no side tables to place drinks on while watching the tv, so they had to go on the floor where they could be knocked over easily! Also, no side lights, the overhead chandeliers were way to bright, gave me a headache! Glad we didn’t have to pay for the WiFi, maximum we saw was 10.2mb (at 0630!) meant a lot of stutter and buffering on the tv! The shower curtain in the en-suite, apart from being very dark, kept falling down as the expanding rail has insufficient grip! Better to replace it with a glass door! Lastly, the extractor fan in the en-suite only worked as long as the main lights were on, so the door had to be left open with the lights on to let out the steam (no windows as it’s underground). Could do with fitting a timer on the fan!
