Everything else. 1.) Check-in No reception, no signage on who to talk to. Check-in was rude. We were given the keys and a WA number so we can take pictures of our passport to send to the owner. The person then left. 2.) Room (see pictures attached) The room's floor and furniture were dirty. The curtain is halfway ripped of the rod. The cabinet has drawers with the front falling off or part of the bottom missing. One side of the bed has a lamp but no power outlet to plug it into. The bathroom door cannot be closed. The toilet seat is badly attached and moves a lot. The shower doesn't drain properly and floods the bathroom. The drainage leaks water from the sink / shower into the bathroom. The bathroom smells badly. The room is extremely noisy due to the rooftop bar above it. When chairs or tables are moved, you hear it as if you were there. It opens at 9 AM and closes at midnight. 3.) False advertising The deluxe room with double beds doesn't exist. There are only single bed rooms. 4.) Staff Talked to owners/staff about our experience. Were given only excuses and more excuses and didn't even believe us when we told them about the drainage. Literally said "no" until we offered to go down and look at it together and showed video as proof. Were told nobody else has ever complained. Pushed responsibility for the booking information onto some third party "Wasn't us". Told it's normal the bathroom smells, it's the same in all other properties. The shower leaking is a known problem. As guests we do not care to know that the people you charged with creating your website wrongly put double bed on booking. We don't care that mistakes were made during construction and this is why the shower floods the room. No willingness to do literally anything. It was a 40 minute argument and apology given only at the very end. No compensation, nothing. Soured the mood, awful experience.
