Nice view of the distant ocean.

To be improved

This place is off-grid and solar-powered. No sun means minimal electricity and barely warm water. We did not stay at the property because it was too cold. There is no heating whatsoever. The only thing the host offered to remedy the cold were filthy blankets. The host was unwilling to discuss any form of a refund. The surroundings are ugly—volcanic rocks with no vegetation. The property is in the middle of nowhere. The drive to get there is not for the faint of heart. The kitchen utensils feel like they need to be washed before use. The lower floor has a musty smell.

“A villa lost in time”
The best

Wonderfully quiet & peaceful location with a very attentive host who used to live in the property & now lives just next door. Spotlessly clean throughout, with a wide range of pots, pans and cooking related utensils. The outside pool area was perfect for relaxing & there's even a BBQ if you're feeling brave enough. Would absolutely recommend 👌

To be improved

There's no kettle or toaster, and the solar powered hot water is temperamental, but that only added to the charm of the place!
