“A nice apartment in a very convenient location”
The best

The apartment was in a convenient location, close to the entrance to the botanical garden and a couple of minutes walk from the Quart Towers. The nearest supermarket was the Carrefour Express convenience store, a 2-3 minute walk away on Carrer de Quart. We had plenty of space, and we liked the simple contemporary décor and the layout. We had an unfortunate mishap with one of the showers on our second night - and the VLC Host staff were very quick and responsive in sorting things out for us, so full marks to them for that.

To be improved

One of the bathroom doors can't be closed properly - either the door or the frame has expanded so the door can't close fully. It wasn't a big inconvenience for us, but if you were in a bigger group you might find it uncomfortable. We did have a problem with one of the showers, and we nearly had a serious incident because the water wasn't draining properly. The staff were really good at sorting the problem out, but if you're using the shower we'd advise you to keep a close eye on the drain so the same thing doesn't happen to you. The location of the windows and skylights means that one of the bedrooms lets in a fair bit of light when it gets bright in the morning. You might find an eye mask helpful for sleeping.
