“Quiet location”
This is a good 4-star hotel in a quiet location. It has a gym, dining area and bar area. There are 10 floors and different sized rooom. We stayed in the queen sized room, which had everything we needed, a small kettle, tea bags, coffees and biscuits. There was an ironing board and iron in the cupboard, which was very welcome as you normally have to ask for these items in other hotels The location was very quiet. It's about a 30 minute walk to central Madrid. Retiro park is close by, which we cut through to get to the Prado museum. The Sainz de Baranda metro was a 5-minute walk away. You'll find line 9 and line 6 (which is circular) at the metro station. We decided to use the airport bus (no 203) from Madrid airport to get to the hotel. The nearest stop on the airport bus route is O'Donnel, followed by a 15-minute walk to the hotel. The service at the hotel was friendly and helpful. Check-out is at midday and there is a room for you to leave your bags if your flight is well beyond check-out time.
“great stay”
As always.. Location, the place is well located, close to transit routes and really accesible by walking. It is not a short walk, so if you plan on walking to Plaza Mayor and more.. plan ahead Room The room was very good, cozy, nice place, the service was outstanding. Food. we only had breakfast. this is where I meet my "enemies".. I am used to very big breakfast, and europe is by all means a very, very light breakfast culture.. but.. as a n international chain hotel, they know this and the buffet is abundant and has lots of options. so, in the end it is good Price all hotels in big cities and in europe are not cheap, but you get what you paid for. i will definitely come back to this place whenever I am in Madrid again. it is very good place.
“Very pleasant!”
The breakfast was good! We enjoyed the variety of items to choose in the restaurant! It was adequate, the price was a little expensive for a person that does not eat much. But we enjoyed it! We liked the location because it was quieter than downtown! It was perfect for us! The room was very comfortable, clean and pleasant!! Thank you for everything! We shall be back!
Everything was perfect!
“Cons: AC was noisy and not refreshing properly (it was really hot outside in June)”
