“Ok apartment at perfect location”

The best

The apartment has a good size for 3 people and there are nice decoration details. The location is perfect: 1 min from the beach, supermarket one block away and also close to the Mesa y Lopez shopping area. There were some things missing when we arrived, but the owner Alejandro solved this the next day.

To be improved

The apartment is in need of some TLC and more than superficial cleaning. The second bedroom is small and the mattress is old, hard and very uncomfortable. Alejandro assured us that he would replace it. If so, the apartment will go from ok to nice! There is no balcony and the parking is in another building, which for us didn’t work.

“Comfy and good value for money, but cleanliness is an issue.”

The best

The apartment is cozy, well decorated, and the couch and comfy bed make all the difference. While it is located near the beach and close to the city center (a big plus), the Las Canteras beach still requires 15 min walk on the promenade. The apartment has all the needed amenities (hair dryer, toaster, microwave), but I would stay away from the big induction pan (use a little one, works better)!

To be improved

We actually never met the owner, only the cleaner, which was a bit odd. The apartment is on the 4th floor, and while there is a lift, we never used it, as it's tiny and creaks all the way up (not a pleasant experience). Also, the view outside is not much. Otherwise, one bad thing about this apartment is its cleanliness. While surface areas were cleaned, the shower was (and probably still is) full of rust and the floor was not mopped when we arrived (the broom itself also seemed as never before cleaned). But if you can get past that, the place is comfy.
