“Very bad experience - avoid!”

The air conditioner was not blowing cold air when we arrived at the hotel. We asked at the reception to change our room to another one with a working A/C, they refused to do so and said that the A/C would start working in a few hours, it just takes time, but it didn't start working at all. In the middle of the night we felt sick and opened the windows where cold air came in (it was about 28-29C outside in July) so we had a sauna inside! The hotel staff's language skills were below average, only one person spoke English, and when she heard about our problem, she completely forgot English and brought us some kind of Spanish complaining form to fill out - a joke. The hotel is old and in need of renovation, definitely not worthy of 4 stars. The breakfast was very poor. There were no free sun beds by the pool. Recommendation - avoid this Hotel!

Pool, location to beach, food in bar was quite good. Bar staff were friendly - particularly Jose. We got a good price last minute, non refundable

Key cards didn’t work for entire stay. multiple trips to desk to reactivate. One time waiting sopping wet from pool for 15 minutes as no separate line. Waiting behind people checking in… they should have a separate queue for guests already checked in. everything is at cost in this hotel. No coffee or tea in room. Charge 1.40 for hot water. Bottled water in room only on first day. Not much shade around pool unless you pay for a drink or food at bar. Cost of food at bar is expensive compared to town.

“The room was clean, comfy, large and with great views. The food is okey but it can be improved.”

The best

The room was large and the view was fantastic. We had three individual beds that were really confortable. The room was clean and the stuff was really kind and welcoming. There are shifts for food, which makes it easier to avoid crowding and for the service to be more optimal. For breakfast there were many options, such as fried eggs, different types of bread for toast, sweets, fruits, churros, tortilla, etc. The distance to the beach and the beach itself is perfect.

To be improved

The food was okey, but there werent that many options for some dinners. Variety was lacking, kind of repetitive after three days there, and the food that was grilled was always overcooked :/
