“Juanjo was very welcoming and gave us all the information we required. The apartment was clean, contained all that we required for a pleasant stay. The location could not have been better. Approximately 1.7 km from both train and bus station, and next to the central market and main square. There was a supermarket 120 m away as well as the central market, plenty of restaurants, and a laundromat next door. Easy walking distance to most attractions. Three steps down into the building, but a lift thereafter. Quiet at night, despite the central location. Would happily stay again. · Cons: The lift broke down twice whilst we were there, although this was rectified promptly. The apartment was too warm at night, and we had to sleep with the windows open. We could turn the central heating in the apartment off, but the building seemed to be heated as well.”

Location was great. Well furnished, very clean and modern. Kitchen well supplied with all needed to cook.

To be improved

One small issue was the creaky floors. Otherwise the apartment is great. I would stay there again.

“Fantastic apartment, Highly recommend”

The best

This is the best apartment we’ve stayed in during our 10 months of traveling through Europe. It’s spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The location is perfect—just a short walk from Plaza Mayor, the university, and the market—yet the apartment remains quiet, offering the best of both worlds. The kitchen is fully equipped, and each room has its own AC/heating unit, though we didn’t need to use them. Juanjo clearly takes pride in being an excellent host, ensuring every detail is considered, which made our stay all the more enjoyable. A public parking lot is conveniently located just 5 minutes away. Salamanca is a stunning city, definitely worth visiting, and we hope to return one day.
