“A few minor niggles but all in all good value for money.”

The best

Brand new, spacious and modern villa. Even more space than in the pictures (I've added some pictures of spaces not shown in the listing). 20 minutes from the airport. Very, very clean. Very few insects (except for those tiny "canarian ants" which are suprisingly clever in finding any leftover sweet foods... just tidy up after eating and they're not a problem). Nice heated swimming pool. Modern bathrooms with good water pressure. Washing machine and fully equipped ktitchen. Fresh, comfortable beds (altough a bit hard, as is common in Spain). Smart TV's in every room. Very fast Wi-Fi (500Mb/s). Kind and responsive hosts.

To be improved

Some child diseases which are probably a consequence of how new this villa is: Showers were initially not draining well: fixed after contact with the hosts. Sewage smell in the washing machine patio (run a bucket of water through the draing to get rid of it for a few hours). No furniture on the 3 upstairs terraces. No curtains in the bathrooms. No plants in the garden. It's at the edge of a new "urbanization" so there are still a few empty/derelict plots around the house. Will probably be a lot nicer in a couple of years. Located in not the most sunny part of the island, at least during our stay in April 2025: definitely get pool heating if you're visiting outside of the summer months.

We would highly recommend this Villa set in the beautiful quiet town of Yaiza. Amazingly clean and well-equipped with super comfortable beds. Extremely helpful, polite landlord.

“Scenic but disappointing”

Loved the modern tastefully decorated villa. Very clean, nice touch with welcome pack. Communication excellent with Anja prior to our arrival. Comfy beds, great tvs, handy garage.

To be improved

The pool was freezing. Used it only twice. Terrible smell of sewerage from downstairs toilet. Location was very remote, nothing to speak of in Yaiza. Also due to the proximity of the mountains, the villa was blanketed in cloud for most of the day. Travel by car 15mins from villa though to get beautiful sunshine.
