“In the heart of the action”
The best

The location is exceptional, right in the heart of Madrid in the historical Puerto del Sol plaza. Beautiful architecture all around, wonderful pastry shops for breakfast and either a walk or short metro ride to attractions. The appartment is cosy, immaculately clean, and has everything you need for a visit to this incredible city. Buzzing outside, but serene and quiet inside. The beds are comfortable, the bathroom spacious and modern. The locals are very friendly and helpful if you need anything, one lovely fellow who worked in a nearby Cafe recognised us, and did the directions in Spanish to get a taxi to the airport.Just ask for help if you need it.

To be improved

The electronic key is a bit of a challenge to older folk but the key is (excuse the pun) to press on the lower button, there are two, on the app link provided and the doors will open. If you have issues, the hosts are very helpful. The appartment is on the third floor, there is a small lift, but flights of stairs to reach the lift so tricky if you have mobility issues.
