The steps to get into the apartment are extremely dangerous...no where to hold as u go up or down....very easy to injure if your not very careful....it's a pity because it's a great apartment

I would have liked a more detailed description of the property before arrival. Once you find the frosted glass door the automatic entry is easy to manage. However, the property is at a sub-terrain level and clearly a basement or storage cellar that has been redone into an apartment. I felt a slight bit conned because I was not prepared for a lower than street level unit with entry from the street directly unto the down stairs to the dining room. One has to bow down to enter which is actually a bit dangerous as the stairs are of polished concrete without banister or railing. So arriving at night and not knowing these things and without any light just darkness while transferring the suitcases from the street through the front door I thought I was coming into a flat surface but it was really a too small top platform of the stairs down. Without a banister I could have easily fallen over the stairs since I was unprepared for it. Generally walking down the tiny stairs is dangerous given the size of the stairs with the material being polished concrete. You actually enter and leave almost on hands and knees but we are both in our mid sixties. Once inside everything is really pretty okay. Although very clean and fixed up to a really respectable level there was still crumbling patches of wall work that could have been plastered over and tidied. The kitchen was totally bare of any basic foods things (for example salt, pepper, some sugar packets) and it would have been nice to have at least a bottle of water there on arrival. The huge animal had over the dining room table really needs to be removed. It looks as if it is there to cover a deficiency. In the end we had a good time laughing about it and will certainly not stay there again. It might be fun for a much younger generation though.
