We booked this property months ago. Two days before I was told by Emi, our reservation had been canceled. This is after they had already charged our credit card. This went on for the two days, with Emi not communicating with us in a timely manner. We even started panicking and looking for another place to stay. I was told we would know by the end of the day. I finally called the host phone number in the evening, and I got a person who said that Emi was his supervisor!! ,but i should get my instructions shortly. The next day, we arrived at the property 1/2 hour after our check-in time and found the place was a mess hadn't been cleaned. The cleaner did show up, but we didn't get in for another hour and a half. The host kept making the excuses about they had a "system error," This was one of the worst hosts we had ever dealt with. The property was located on a street littered with trash, above bars and cafes with lots of noise all night long, hookers hanging out at the, and there was black mold on the floor in the bathroom. After voicing my concerns, criticizing Emi about his communication, lack of professionalism, they threatened to kick us out. They offered to give me a credit for the cleaning, which I have yet to see. A lifelong adventure, marred by incompetent people. During our stay 3 ladies tried to get in the building, in which we tried to assist, but their key code wouldn't work, I suggested they call their host, they said they had tried but Emi wouldn't answer the phone. Lol.
