It was beautifully decorated. The sound proof bedrooms really eliminated the noise, especially with a sound machine. The staff was incredibly responsive.

Location is perfect for getting from train station and nice walks to central area. Nearby streets have cafes and restaurants. Coffee shop directly under apartment.

We found this property at the very last minute while already in Madrid and needing additional accommodation. We had already gone on a sightseeing tour when we arrived and recognized the street as a most ideal location. It is less than 5 minutes walk from the Prado and there are plenty of restaurants in the vicinity as well as being right around the corner from a police station. Right from the beginning of the booking, Emi was in contact to obtain our details which are necessary for booking apartment stays in Spain. The apartment was in the process of being turned over from a previous guest and we found Emi to be very generous to let us drop our bags before check in once we proposed our preferred check in time. Emi's instructions for access and check in to the apartment were to the point. We used the app to unlock the main entrance and always being vigilant, ensured it was closed before we proceeded to the interior. The housekeeper also being there when we dropped our bags off gave us great information about access to the apartment. The apartment was in beautiful condition and suited the three of us. It is a 2bdrm 1 bath but with a very large living room and spacious fully equipped kitchen. We did not cook while we were there as there were a number of restaurants within walking distance that could accommodate all meal preferences. We had breakfast every morning at Cafe Nelia which was a few steps away from the apartment entrance. It is also located on a fairly quiet street away from the masses but close enough to metro and bus access. There are signs throughout the building about being careful about who you allow access but that was common sense about being sensible in your surroundings. We loved our stay and appreciated the ease of communication with the host about access and utilization of the apartment. Will we return, absolutely yes!
