“It’s the worse experience as the host was no where to be reached in case of issue with the apartment.”

Location is good, walking distance to many touristic spot/shopping area/super market.

To be improved

Service is the worst that I have ever encountered. If you have any trouble or things not working at the apartment such as kettle, or broken toilet / shower door of the sort, the host never response nor will they come and fix it. Worst thing is, they changed the access card the next day we moved in and result in us being locked out of our apartment and no one pick up the phone that they left with us in case of emergency use, they also don’t response to email nor WhatsApp and we basically were locked out for three hours not able to get into our apartment.

“Central location and spacious apartment”

Great location (pronounced like ‘El Shambler’) easy walking distance to many sites, didn’t feel unsafe (solo female 50 year old). - You’ll receive very easy to follow entry details the day of check in (via WhatsApp). Detailed written instructions + a couple of mini movie clips). Six digit key pad entry to enter building (easy to remember). - No problems with the elevator in my 4 day stay. - Stayed in apartment 1A on floor 3. - You’ll need to face the ‘green’ side of the apartment key card onto the door knob at entrance of your apartment and turn to the right. - You’ll receive 2 door key cards to your apartment, to keep on you or 1 in the power slot when out and about. - Decent sized kitchen with fridge & freezer (both worked well, small cook top, dishwasher & microwave. - Received 1 complementary bottle of water & 2 x coffee pods. - Used the washing machine twice (BYO own detergent). - Small clothes drying rack and perfect sunny position on Juliet style balcony from the lounge room. - Self controlled split system in the loungeroom & bedroom (perfect in July heat). - Dining table seats 4, and decent sized, comfy couch. - Bed was very large and very comfortable. - Small safe, and coat hangers & plenty of wardrobe space (15 hangers & 2 for bottoms) - Double glazed windows were great. - Tiny bottle of shower gel for shower but no shelf in shower (barn style, step into shower). - Water pressure was great in both height adjustable hand held mixer and water fall shower head. - No real space on the bathroom vanity but enough to have face creams etc, with small shelf underneath. - Little grocery store directly across the street. - One way traffic on the street & no probs getting a taxi (when light is green). - You’ll need to take out the trash the day you leave (big fine if you don’t). - Very spacious & clean and would stay here again.

No shelf in the shower, but not a big deal and would have loved to have arrived with the air con on to have a cool apartment. It was stifling hot and 1 x complimentary bottle of water (in-refrigerated!

“Property was well maintained. Quiet and in a great location · Cons: We had to wait 1.5 hours for check in due to another check-in being late. It seemed there was only one person doing check-ins across the business and as a result we had to wait after our meet time. We were offered somewhere to leave our bags but with all our valuables in these bags we did not feel comfortable doing so.”
