“Beautiful apartment just outside the hustle and bustle of a beautiful city.”

We paid for the apartment 1 month before we arrived then received a link to pay the city tax. Once this is paid, we received the code to the door and directions. Upon entering the apartment, the keys were on the kitchen table and we could still use the code to open the door without the keys. The apartment was spacious and clean. It had aircon and all amenities. The bedrooms were spacious and there was plenty of space to hang up clothes. The apartment is literally around the corner from the metro yellow line which brings you straight in Barcelona City. There is a Lidl 6 blocks away but there is a local supermarket closer. There is a bar below the apartment which was quiet. The beach is a 7 min walk and it was stunning. The balcony was so nice to step out onto with a cup of coffee in the morning and watch the world go by. Our hosts were very easy to contact and offered to store our luggage before checkin if needed. There was a welcoming bottle of wine which was a lovely touch.

To be improved

The only issue was the tiles on the kitchen floor were loose so wear footwear.

Excellent location, walkable to transportation hubs and main attractions

Very narrow staircase and no elevator. Some exercise to bring luggage up and down required.
