The house was clean and well-maintained.
The host was very welcoming and accommodating.
Overall, a very positive experience with minor drawbacks.
Breakfast items and water provided were appreciated.
Rooms were cozy and comfortable, though there were some communication issues.
Good value considering the amenities and service.
“Bad experience because of loud music playing until 3 a.m. and we not warned of this before arrival.”
The Host was lovely, and bought us a fan and left milk, water, coffee, tea and biscuits for us. The location was good for travel through Spain to France for our journey to England. There were good kitchen facilities. Bedroom was cool without air=conditioning on a a very hot day and night in August.
Loud music played in the street outside until 3 a.m. in the morning and lots of shouting. We considered leaving in the middle of the night. The main reason for staying in this "quiet" location was because we had a very long journey to get to this location and a very long journey the following day. The bedding spelt of strong perfume. We would not consider staying there again. Hence the overall poor rating.
“Nice place for a stopover”
So easy to find, right off one of the main roads from Portugal to the ferry port at Bilbao, great for a stopover en route. Dog friendly too
Thought the garden would have AstroTurf but it was just concrete
“Cosy and nice but in a very isolated place”
The host was very nice and helpful and the place was extremely clean. It is magnificent to find a place which is pet friendly .
The property is located in a small and lost village where you cannot buy absolutely anything. Supermarkets are 16 km away and the closest is a shop in a gas bomb more than 8 km far. The bed mattress also needs to be replaced.
