Great value for money option if you don’t want to spend much more to stay in the heart of Madrid. All WindRose apartments are located at the ground floor of an apartment building with direct access from street. The building is not in a very glamorous spot but the location is very convenient: literally ten steps from a Dia supermarket and a 10 min easy walk from Batan metro station. Once you get on the train, it doesn’t take more than 10-12 min to reach Plaza de España and from there I dare to say you can explore by foot the entire Madrid unless you have mobility issues. Another route I would highly recommend is a walk through Casa de Campo to Lago and from there to the city center. This huge park is right to the back of the apartment building. Such a trip shouldn’t take more than an hour. The apartment is comfortable and has all the ammenities necessary for cooking something basic in the morning or for dinner (but why would you choose to not dine outside while in Madrid?).

we lived this hotel for 10 days,it's good transporation place,near metro,but station and supermarket. Only 10-20 minutes arrive to city center by bus or metro. And you can cook in the hotel.

I liked the position. Not in the center, but not far away, conveniently located near bus and metro stations. It has a Dia market literally across the street, a Mercadona close by, and a pharmacy in the same building. And two restaurants in the same block. Also is a full apartment at your disposal.
