Wonderful boat for families and friends

This was, without a doubt, the worst accommodation experience I’ve ever had. The boat is in an appalling condition and should not be listed for rent — it poses serious health and safety risks. The moment we stepped on board, we were hit with a strong damp and musty smell, especially in the bedroom. All the bedding and cushions were damp and smelled unclean. The bedroom wall was visibly damp and mouldy, and one of our group ended up with a sore throat from attempting to sleep there — her clothes were also damp by morning. There were cockroaches crawling around the kitchen, sofas, and bedding — we counted at least ten. The toilet constantly smelled terrible and backed up when used. The towels left for us were stained and dirty. We are now all covered in bedbug bites. This is absolutely unacceptable and has left us uncomfortable, itchy, and incredibly frustrated. The bedding clearly hadn’t been properly cleaned in a very long time, and now we’re dealing with the consequences. The shower situation was ridiculous — they were a 20-minute walk away, which was not clearly advertised, and our key card didn’t even work to access them. When we finally got in, the facilities were filthy and completely unhygienic. The listing is highly misleading. The boat shown in the photos is not the same one we stayed on. It shows a clean, well-maintained outdoor area and modern showers — neither of which exist. It also claims to be close to the city centre, but it took us 45 minutes on public transport to get there. This boat is not suitable for three people — and in its current state, not even one. It’s damp, mouldy, insect-infested, and falling apart. We paid a ridiculous amount for what can only be described as a health hazard. Avoid this place. Booking.com should not be allowing this to remain on their platform. I have attempted to contact them with no response.
