We were extremely disappointed in our experience at this property, and even more so in the management’s response to our issues. We were a family of four with two teens who booked for 4 nights in a room with bunk beds. We knew the area was lively and expected street noise at an elevated level. However what we did not expect was the amount of noise the bunk beds generated in squeaks with every slight shift of the body or even a deep breath. It was so severe that no one on the room could sleep. We were not able to stay in that room another night. We contacted the front desk and asked for a solution. They said they were full and that there was nothing that they could do. We told them that the squeaky beds were within their control and unacceptable, so we asked them to charge us for half our stay and refund the other half and we booked another hotel to try and salvage our time in Madrid. The on location staff called and connected us to a guest service manager who then said she would talk to the manager. Afterward, the on-site staff person was sent to our room to say the manager said there was nothing they could do. At no time did the management speak with us directly. So this hotel provided an unacceptable experience and then kept three nights of room rates when we had already checked out and given them the key, not to mention that the one night we stayed was miserable. We also are now paying to stay in another hotel at the same time. While not a significant reason to leave the hotel, I also want to point out that the comments about the level of noise you hear were not in any way accurate for us. There was a bar directly below our window that was extremely loud with outdoor seating and very loud people until five in the morning. With the lack of soundproofing at the hotel it felt like the people at the bar were sitting in our room next to us. Finally, it is not made clear when you book that there is no on-site staff for most of the day and all night and almost everything is handled via WhatsApp and your keys are just left for you to get in and out of the room on your own. If you are a family traveling to Madrid, I would highly discourage you from using this property as it is both an unpleasant experience and management is not willing to work with you should you have an unhappy experience.

The location of the hotel was perfect – within walking distance to everything we needed. The room was clean, comfortable, and nicely furnished. The receptionist was extremely helpful and friendly. Our room was ready upon arrival, and the check-out process was smooth and easy, even though it was early in the morning. We highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay at this apartment during our family trip. The place was clean, spacious, and exactly as described.The location was perfect, close to shops, restaurants, and public transportation, but also in a quiet area where we could rest peacefully.

Lovely characterful building in a really nice area with cobbled streets and lots of bars, restaurants and shops. You are just a short walk away from the centre. The room was a nice size with a very comfortable bed and pillow and a good shower. All the Staff we dealt with were super helpful and friendly - You’ll struggle to find a better place to stay.
