“Beautiful apartment in a charming small town.”

The best

Wonderful view and the accommodation was clean and comfortable with a well equipped kitchen. Hosts communicated clearly and in good time. Highly recommended as long as you can manage the climb up the steps from sea level or have use of a car.

To be improved

The only minor issue was with the shower not draining well so we had to mop up afterwards.

“It was a relaxing holiday especially thanks to use of the great swimming pool”

The best

The location is high above the village with beautiful views. This apartment is on the top level of the co-property and so it's quite a walk back up from the centre - need to be fit. The excellent, communal swimming pool is a huge plus. The kitchen is well equipped.

To be improved

The allocated parking spot is extremely difficult for anything other than a small car. We were only 2 people in this 3 bed apartment and the living area felt cramped. There is only one shower room and no separate toilet! Would not recommend for a group of 6 adults!

The best

The apartment and the view were exactly as in the description. Actually, the view was even better than expected! The apartment was very comfortable and for the most part very clean, and the furniture comfortable and in good taste. One unexpected bonus was the pool. As we have a 10x5m pool at home, we don't take much notice of pool facilities when going on holiday, but the 25m pool at Xaloc was amazing. It's salt-based, so the water was very soft, and when we were there we often had it for ourselves. It was wonderful to be able to go swimming in such a huge pool.

To be improved

The kitchen could do with some TLC: It needs new pots, more cutlery, a decent kettle, and the cupboard handles were terribly dirty and sticky. The fridge also makes a lot of noise. Plus the kitchen window was broken.
