Nicely renovated and large appartement with a large balcony with view over the river. Walking distance of the beach. Well equipped kitchen.

To be improved

The bed was not so comfortable and there was a lot of noise in or around the building.

The best

We enjoyed our stay at Xatetta Etxea Ocean View, very much. The appartement is specious, is well equipped and has a large balcony with a nice view on the harbour. Also shops and some restaurants are very close by.. The appartement is located in a busy street with lparking space that is mostly occupied. However the appartement also offers a private parking lot only a few hundred meters away.. To be short we had a very nice stay and would book again if we are in Zumaia.

“A great stay in a lovely small town, comfy apartment well equipped.”

The best

A lovely small town with a harbor, no tourists just local super friendly people. A few good restaurants with a fresh sea food. And local bars all around. Just next to Geopark Flysch with a splendid views and trekking options. The apartment was clean and comfy. Nice terrace overlooking the harbor (not Ocean). A private parking place 5 min walk from the apartment.

To be improved

Keep in mind that the apartment is located in a little bit noisy area. It has a view of the port where the old ship is being renovated (check google maps). During the working day, from the early morning hours, there is a noise reminiscent of a pressure washer. Air conditioning would be helpful during hot days. Check in and door opening via app - needs improvement (app is not stable, during check in we had an issue to get access to the apartment - immediate help from the owner has been provided. Last day it stopped working again late evening. Luckily, with help of a neighbor, we entered the building and opened the door with the access code, which is visible in the application only, so pay attention to write it down).
