This property is in major need of some TLC, and for the hosts to show consideration towards their guests. Upon arrival, the terrace was left in a mess, with bird poo on the furniture, builders items left everywhere and scaffolding obstructing the view. The host did not once inform us there would be building works prior to arrival, which was bitterly disappointing for us given the reason we booked the apartment was for the terrace. The host barely offered apologies for these circumstances, nor seemed to care how we felt arriving to the property in that state. They arranged for someone to tidy the furniture, but this remained in serious need of a deep clean, and this didn’t stop the fact that we had builders around the scaffolding of the terrace for the following two days. We complained to booking.com and the host wouldn’t bother to answer their calls either to resolve the situation. We are still awaiting to hear the outcome over our concerns around this property, but the pictures on the website currently grossly misrepresent what you are paying for. Aside from the terrace, the apartment is generally tired and could use some further fixing - there is a broken window in the bedroom, the shower is fixed at a poor angle so it floods the bathroom and there is way too much clutter around the flat collecting dust. This apartment needs some time and care invested into it, if the hosts were actually bothered about their guests experience.

This has the potential to be an excellent place to stay but unfortunately it needs some TLC. On the terrace there was a broken bench which should have been removed. There were additional chairs stacked but there was no where to put them so it just looked like they were not needed elsewhere so just left on the balcony. The large chairs need to have a cover for the rain. They were just dirty and wet. Handles on the cupboard in the kitchen were missing. There are three clocks in the apartment, none of them worked. Also a window was broken in the bedroom and it was just clumsily replaced by a bit of hard wood. This apartment was not cheap and we expected it to be in much better condition. Also, I emailed via Booking.com and via the email address they owner provided many times before our arrival but there was no reply. I did worry that the flat didn't really exist. On the day before our arrival the owner did get in touch and that was fine.

The patio needed a good cleaning especially the area for hanging clothes . The decorative rugs all needed cleaning

No dishwasher. Smelled bad. No good place to put wet bath towels so they would be dry next day. There were a number of problems in the bathroom, The owners were quite slow in responding the first time and didn’t respond at all the second time we needed to reach them.
