Nice spacious apartment, large comfortable beds, helpful kind hosts, comfortable lounge and balcony, efficient and quiet aircon. Nespresso machine!

To be improved

Kitchen is perhaps a little tired with some old appliances, though generally the apartment is well kept, modern and clean. A bit of a walk to the restaurants. Address is not on any maps or sat nav so a little difficult to find when we arrived late at night, despite the pinned map we had kindly received from the hosts. Note there are no grocery stores in Sotogrande itself (just a small whole food deli) so if you're self-catering you will need a car to buy provisions. For completeness, I would not describe the apartment as a penthouse (in my dictionary this is top floor, the flat is on a middle floor) but maybe that is a translation issue and it didn't impact dramatically on our stay)...

“Lovely, comfortable apartment in Sotogrande Marina”
The best

The property is a large apartment with underground garage and lift. Beds are large and very comfortable and the kitchen, although dated, is functional. The outside balcony is lovely with fabulous views.

To be improved

We did have to buy a couple of chopping boards. The oven door and controls get very hot oven gloves would be very useful. The furniture on the balcony is large and although very comfortable, a couple of sun beds would have been perfect but there is little room for them.
