“The finca was wonderful and gave the true Spanish feel we were looking for.”
Loved the pool which was very well used. The donkeys were a favourite and the chickens provided hours of amusement for our young grandson. There were lots of different places to sit and eat so you could avoid the sun or breeze. Loved the rural location and that you could walk into Petra.
Whilst the chickens were great they left masses of droppings everywhere to such an extent that our grandson couldn't crawl on the grass which was such a shame as it was the only place he could safely crawl. The many trees whilst providing wonderful shade were constantly dropping leaves. The worst offender was the Rubber tree at the back and we had to sweep everyday or be knee deep in leaves. Also for an 8 person stay a one slice toaster was ridiculous. When we arrived we had to sweep the entire downstairs and remove lots of cobwebs before the rest of the party arrived. Not happy either about the inside cameras. Whilst unsure if they were on, once we had covered them up there was an almost instant message from the agents to say the gardener was coming. There wasn't much in the way of help as to where the nearest big supermarket was (they only mentioned one in Petra which didn't sell fresh milk or bread) and no mention of any of the wonderful restaurants in Petra or that the train into Palma was quick, easy and enjoyable. It could have been so much more with a little bit of effort and thought.
“Good”
House is in the middle of nowhere, so there's very peaceful, but not the best neighbourhood. There's a lot of space indoors and outdoors. Lot of space for 8 people
House could have been cleaner, especially in the kitchen there was lots of grease. House comes with donkeys and chickens. We loved donkeys, but chickens were very annoying, they were walking ouside the house, making mess everywhere, leaving feces all over the place.
