Service was outstanding with a massive thank you to the whole team.
Great location being right on the beach.
Food was outstanding with lots of choices and themed evenings.
Another magical family holiday; looking forward to the next visit.
Loads of things to do for kids with various swimming pools and activities.
Hotel rooms were very clean and spacious.
“Family stay”
Excellent location for access to beach, vehicle hire & bus stops. Room was spotless & spacious. Only downside was the lack of plugs in the kitchen area. There was no loud noises. We all slept really well. Food was excellent in terms if variety & quality. Staff were friendly, helpful & informative. Overall I would stay again.
“A great priced option for a 4 star stay”
Zafiro Bahia is a really well priced option for a mid 4 star hotel. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with small kitchenettes. The pool areas outside are lovely, with loads of comfortable sun beds and just a 30 second stroll to the beach. It's away from the main centre of Alcudia which is an added bonus. We loved the fact that could hire padel/tennis equipment for free and have a game. Although they do need to fix the tennis court net. Bike hire was a great option too. We went all inclusive, the buffet was different each day and plenty of choice. Also, a really good wine choice by the bottle and cocktails etc. All inclusive plus would have enabled us to lunch and have 1 meal at the a la carte restaurant, which would have made a nice change. The entertainment was good, although we only watch a couple of times, (just us) The magic show was very clever. There is crazy golf. The staff were super friendly, drinks service at meal times was a little slow, but it was a busy week with it being Easter and staff may have been a bit low. I think a little investment on some of the sports facilities, (the pool bouncy dome only worked for 1 day) and bit more staff to help with drinks would have made this a 5 star review. I would give 4.5/5.
“Very good nearly exceptional”
I honestly am feeling quite teary as I write this review. My youngest son is 8 years old son has autism. He's never travelled abroad before so we went with this hotel as it seemed smaller and close to the beach. To say we have a wonderful holiday is an understatement. There were a few niggles that the hotel needs to tighten but over all it was amazing! There isn't anything around the hotel bar a supermarket no restaurants etc so bear that in mind. It's in the middle of no where. The food... oh my goodness the food!! It was incredible! We found at lunch time the buffet was a little boring but we ate at the restaurant (all inclusive is included at lunch) and that was amazing! The entertainment... this is the bit where I can feel myself getting upset. To say the entertainment team were outstanding is an understatement! All the team were incredible with my son. I told them when we got there how he coped etc and they went above and beyond at every turn. My little boy cried last night because "Andrea my friend is far away" it has to be said out of the team Andrea and Pepe were just well what's better than outstanding 🤣🤣 they laughed with me, helped me and even at one point hugged me when I was having a bad afternoon with my son. I couldn't have asked for more with them! The entertainment was varied and the kids club was lovely. I would suggest the team did the rounds in the hotel before starting activites as we lost track of time on a few occasions. However that is beyond picky! The pools... they were great very cold but it was to be expected for late March. The top pool was heated. People soon realised and then beds became full. I was incredibly annoyed with the life guards. They didn't stick to their 40min rule so people left their towels on the bed for hours without coming back. One day a family was sitting on the floor after I had noticed the best next to us had been empty bar towels for over 4 hours. I told the life guard and they reluctantly removed the towels. The do have "40 minutes" signs that they put on beds after a while but they don't stick to it. With there being only one heated pool and limited seats that's a big let down for me. My son really didn't cope when he could see empty beds bar towels one day. He doesn't understand people might come back. The room... we did request a two bedroom room as I couldn't select that when booking but it showed as none available. The room was clean with several items for self catering if you wanted to cook. The bathroom didn't have any shelves which was really odd 🤣 I went in like urm where can I put my hair brush 🤣 They probably dont want you to know this but at this hotel if you book a pool view room you'll also have a sea view if you are on floors 2 or above. It's not a perfect sea view but still a sea view 🥰 Negative- The Negative that I feel should be noted by families is that the grounds are not secure. The gate to the beach looks like it had a scan lock but it was broken and appeared to have been that way for a long time. To get into the hotel ground you just walk down the side of the reception at the front too. So this bothered me with my oldest son being allowed to explore. The other negative was that my husband wanted to watch a football game which was important for his team. The huge tele wasn't working so he ended up watching it in the room as there was no where close by to watch it. It's two weeks after we left and my son will not remove his wrist band! He is convinced he'll need it again soon. Will I be back to this specific hotel? Only if I knew the entertainment team were there because i like to explore different areas. I would definitely book again if I knew Andrea and Pepe were there. Their passion and support really does go above and beyond 🥰 Very happy Zafrio!! Well done!
