“The location, surf classes, yoga area · Cons: I don't recommend this for solo travellers, there were around 7 volunteers, which stayed in their group all the time and didn't seem interested in getting to know any travellers. I felt like the common spaces, especially the kitchen was always occupied by them and I almost felt like invading their space. I think the point of the hostel is to bring international travellers together, but most guests I spoke to felt a bit weird about the staff always speaking in spanish and going on activities on their own. Also, the guy who checked me in did not greet me once (barely also most of the other volunteers). Also, I felt like the outside area could be maintained a bit more, given this amount of volunteers. Also the room is wayyyy to overpriced for a hostel, I paid 55 euros per night. Shower went off every 5 seconds and you had to put the wristband all the time”

“Great place. Would stay there again in a heartbeat!”
Great concept with sleep pods vs. beds. I liked being able to close the curtain and get some semblance of privacy. Kitchen was reasonably well equipped. Best thing was the location one block to the beach and adjacent to the old town area with plenty of restaurants and shopping.
Not much I didn't like except for the short timers on the showers, but that didn't detract from the experience.
“A perfect and convenient setup for surfer 🤙🏻”
Great facilities for a surf trip and well equipped! Very friendly and helpful staff! Cool to have a really nice cafe attached to the hostel!
Kitchen is maybe a little bit too small and it’s a bit more on the pricey side for a hostel
“A little corner of paradise just steps from the sea”
Surfing House is the perfect place for anyone looking for an authentic, laid-back experience just steps from the sea. The location is unbeatable: just cross the street and you're right on the beach, ready for a day of sun and waves. The atmosphere here is truly special. From the very first moment, the team welcomed me with warmth and genuine kindness. The spontaneous chats in the chill-out area ( a beautifully curated corner perfect for relaxing) made my stay even more enjoyable. The city radiates an incredible energy, and this place captures it perfectly. I stayed in the 12-bed dorm and, despite the size, everything was spotless and well organized. I highly recommend this hostel to anyone looking to connect with people from all over the world, unwind, and fully enjoy the beach with simplicity and good vibes.
“Beautiful space, could use more than 2 toilets and 2 showers for 36 beds.”
