Check-in experience was unacceptable. We were bombarded with emails asking for ID verification — which is fine — but then asked to provide our arrival time. Booking.com also allows guests to request a late check-out, which we did. The main issue: the host never responded to our request. We faced a serious problem — they even threatened to call the police because we disagreed with the check-out time. There was no attempt to negotiate or show any understanding. This behavior is unacceptable. The next guest was scheduled to arrive at 4:00 PM. We only asked for a short extension — to leave around 1:30 or 2:00 PM. Instead, we were treated with complete disrespect — we were hung up on during phone calls. The cleaning staff clearly does not do their job. The apartment was in a disgusting state: we found a soiled pair of underwear in the children’s bedroom. The bedding was in terrible condition — the sheets were yellow and worn out, and the sofa was not a sofa bed as advertised. The mattress quality was very poor, and it was impossible to communicate with the rental managers. Overall, the experience was deeply disappointing and absolutely not up to standard.

L’expérience de check-in a été totalement inacceptable. Nous avons reçu une avalanche d’e-mails pour la vérification d’identité — ce qui est compréhensible — puis on nous a demandé notre heure d’arrivée. Booking.com permet également de faire une demande de départ tardif, ce que nous avons fait. Le problème principal : le propriétaire n’a jamais répondu à notre demande. Nous avons ensuite été confrontés à une situation très grave : ils ont menacé d’appeler la police simplement parce que nous n’étions pas d’accord avec l’heure de départ. Il n’y a eu aucune volonté de dialogue ni de compréhension. Ce comportement est tout simplement inadmissible. Le prochain client était censé arriver à 16h. Nous avions demandé une courte prolongation, jusqu’à 13h30 ou 14h. En retour, nous avons été traités avec un manque total de respect — on nous a raccroché au nez à plusieurs reprises. Quant à la propreté de l’appartement, c’était une véritable catastrophe. Nous avons trouvé une culotte souillée dans la chambre des enfants. Les draps étaient jaunis et usés, le canapé n’était pas convertible comme annoncé, et la literie était de très mauvaise qualité. Enfin, il a été impossible de communiquer avec les responsables de la location, qui sont restés injoignables ou irrespectueux. En résumé : une expérience profondément décevante, absolument indigne du niveau attendu.
