Mixed/poor: host placed three room fresheners after notification (ineffective) and did not respond to a request about a price reduction.
Positive: very good location and proximity to the port; downside that the unit is on the ground floor facing a busy road which may affect noise and air quality.
Positive: well-equipped kitchen and a good selection of appliances; furnishings and lighting praised (host supplied air fresheners after complaint).
Strongly negative: persistent very unpleasant odor from the shower drain throughout the stay, flies observed, guest had to cover the drain to mitigate; smell also noted as musty/closed-in on arrival.
Positive: new, tidy and well furnished; attractive lighting, comfortable beds and a very clean bathroom, though overall comfort was impacted by the persistent odor.
Negative: persistent odor and lack of satisfactory host response (no price adjustment) reduced perceived value.
