Mixed but mildly positive: owner responded and attempted to help (provided some bedding/towels) and one reviewer noted Chloe was very helpful; however responses sometimes felt insufficient.
Consistently praised: top location close to bars, markets, centre and beaches; easy walking distance and good situation for restaurants and amenities.
Good amenities in places — large sunny balcony/terrace, big pool area, air conditioning, large living-room TV and beach-bar breakfast noted — but some items missing or faulty (only one set of keys, loose kitchen tap, lack of matching cups/glasses, missing bedroom TV antenna).
Repeated reports of unclean bedding and pillows (sweaty, stained, malodorous), damp/odorous towels at arrival, requirement to buy air freshener and spray bedding; general comment that property is not as clean as expected.
Refurbished but poorly maintained: bedroom described as dark, too much furniture, mismatched/insufficient bedding, worn/dirty balcony cushions, and some unpleasant odours; cookware and some appliances unusable or missing.
Guests felt maintenance and cleanliness shortfalls reduced perceived value despite nice refurbishment; costs and effort (buying towels, mug, frying pan, Febreze) lowered value impression.
