- Furniture Quality: Mismatched furnishings that don't match the property's elegance - Sofa Condition: Dirty sofa that was unacceptable for the accommodation's price point - Bathroom Issues: Faulty hot water installation preventing any hot water - Disruptive Electronics: Intense blinking WiFi router light directly facing the bed - Kitchen Inconveniences: Dull knives making food preparation difficult - Noisy Appliances: Extremely loud refrigerator disrupting peace and quiet This was our second stay at Hacienda el Terrero, having previously stayed in the La Palmera apartment. The El Socorro apartment was a bit disappointment. The stunning location, smooth check-in, and thoughtful welcome gift demonstrate the property's potential. If management addresses the interior issues and maintains the high standards suggested by their hospitality, this could become a truly exceptional destination. We remain hopeful and would be eager to return to an improved version of this promising property.

The swimming pool was out of service, and we were not informed about it before our arrival — otherwise, we would have booked a different place. We only found out after we arrived and had to contact the staff ourselves to ask what was going on. I requested a partial refund, and although they initially agreed, they did not respond to my messages for over a week. Only after returning home and contacting Booking.com directly did I manage to get my money back. Additionally, the sunbeds were very dirty. This was our honeymoon, and the situation caused us a lot of unnecessary stress and disappointment. We understand that unexpected issues can happen — like a pool being out of order — and we would have accepted that if the staff had communicated clearly, responded to messages, and provided a clear timeline for the refund. Unfortunately, the lack of transparency and poor communication, especially during a not-so-cheap stay, is simply unacceptable.
