The staff were so friendly and accomodating. The hotel was so serene and peaceful and beautifully decorated. The bedroom was larger than we expected and very quiet and comfortable. The buffet breakfast was basic but adequate.

To be improved

Suggest routine check on small room maintenance items like TV batteries and squeaky doors but this is really minor. Mini refrigerator was missing some items on arrival.

“Lovely building and rooms”
The best

Beautiful building with large bedrooms, beautifully decorated. Breakfast was basic but fine, bread, tomato and meat pastes, and jams. Basic food but adequate to prepare for a day of visiting the area, lots of good restaurants in the vicinity. Bar available but really saw anyone using it so lacking in atmosphere. Downside was non functioning air-con on last day that was allegedly fixed (but not). Lack of sleep on last night, some lighting and the ceiling fan not working either. All in all a lovely stay with minor issues that knocked the star off.

“Elegant hotel in a great location and a very nice receptionist”
The best

Location is great, close to train station and to central locations. I could do all activities including visiting alcazar, equestrian school, and sherry tour on foot. Nazaret the reception lady was awesome. Super kind and helpful, light-hearted too. The room was spacious, clean, new central AC system, bed large and comfortable, and room was truly well equipped. Safe, good quality shampoo and body wash, even shoe polish, I haven’t seen those touches in recent hotels for a long time. Nice balcony overlooking a ground floor terrace.

To be improved

My only negative remark is that they denied me a one hour late checkout, I asked to Leave at 1 instead of 12 and they refused saying they were full the following day and unable to honor the request. That being said, I did leave at 12:15 and they didn’t try to press me.

Modern, fresh, super clean, super spacious room and very comfortable.

To be improved

The breakfast. Very hit and miss buffet style. I’d give it a miss and go out into town for a proper Spanish breakfast
