“Historic Haven Overlooking Catedral de Grenada”

I only wish I would’ve had more time at this graceful and superb hotel nestled in central Granada and directly across the street from the Cathedral. It’s a quiet haven on a bustling street - your own little enclave to rest, recharge, and enjoy. The hotel is visually stunning in a restored historic building, and its Miralba rooftop bar is truly unsurpassed (and happens to make the best Sangria on earth;) El Patio restaurant also had excellent service, selection, and was a beautiful atrium to enjoy meals. Guest rooms were spacious, beautifully designed, chock full of amenities, and immaculate. We booked the family suite - which gave us our own private hallway leading to two separate, beautiful guest rooms. Palacio Gran Via delivered on all counts - location, hotel design and decor, guest rooms, restaurant, rooftop bar - - AND a delightful, professional and helpful staff. “First class service”

The best

What sets this hotel apart is the outstanding service. As soon as we arrived, two members of staff came out to our car to help unload our luggage, park the car and escort us to the reception where we were offered some home-made lemonade while we checked in. This set the tone for our stay - every member of staff we encountered was incredibly friendly and helpful and in my experience this is quite rare and it sets this hotel apart. Our room was the suite on the top floor which had a very nice terrace that was very private and quiet. The room itself was comfortable, and the only negative comment I have is that the seal on the shower was not great resulting the floor of the bathroom getting very wet when having a shower. The rooftop bar was excellent with a range of imaginative cocktails and we also had a light lunch there which was very well presented. Breakfast had a thoughtful menu and was all very high quality. The location of the hotel is ideal, being within easy walking distance of the Alhambra yet being quite quiet. Overall, I would not hesitate to come back to this hotel if I return to Granada.
