“Save your money and stay elsewhere!”

Avoid this place! No hot water and NO help from Booking.com I stayed at Refugio Relax ~ Playa San Juan (ID 6223.935.230) and it was a nightmare. From day one, there was NO hot water, making it impossible to shower. I informed the host immediately, but they ignored the problem for over 24 hours. I was forced to leave and find another hotel on my own after 2 days. Worst of all, Booking.com support provided NO help at all. They simply told me to "talk to the host," even though the host was already ignoring my messages and refusing a refund for the 8 unused nights. There is no reception and no official complaint book on-site. I have filed a formal legal complaint with the Tourist Board in Alicante (Servicio Territorial de Turismo). Save your money — you will be left alone with your problems here!
